Flavour Country

Nothing fancy today, just some info on our current progression since Wowprogress has no idea how to handle a guild that has run more than one raid size.

Current Progression

25 Person Raiding
10 of 12 – Al’akir and Nefarian remaining

With the holidays finally over, FC completed our first week of 25 man raiding and ended up with ten bosses down. Overall a satisfying week considering some of our raiders were stepping into the instances for the first time.

We have previously killed all normal mode bosses as well as Heroic Halfus Wyrmbreaker at the ten man size, although we are henceforth running a full-time 25 man schedule.

Recruitment
Our roster is swirling around a bit as we trial folks and move some other people around. As such, we have room for a few excellent players to join us as we start working through heroic modes. In addition to the specific needs below, we are always interested in looking at applications from exceptional players of any class or role.

* Tank/DPS – Approximately 50/50 split between tanking and dps’ing. Must be skilled in both areas and comfortable fulfilling “3rd tank” duties. DK preferred but we are open to apps from any tank.
* Resto Shaman
* Resto Druid
* 1 additional non-priest healer
* 1-2 Warlock
* 1-2 Hunter
* 3-4 Ranged DPS of any class

Flavour Country is continuing to explore the new raid encounters prior to our 25 man raids officially starting on January 5th. We’re 11/12 now, with only Dead Nef (a fight with TWO dragons) left up. We’re recruiting folks who want to be part of a great raid experience. As heal lead, I’m personally looking for a few absolutely outstanding healers to join our crew. Prel

Although we aren’t beginning our 25 man raiding until after the holidays, over the weekend FC put together a few of our recent 85′s and went to play with the ten man versions of the new raid encounters. Friday we took out the Conclave of Winds, and tonight we knocked off Omnotron Defense System and Magmaw in Blackwing Descent, then  Halfus Wyrmbreaker and Valiona & Theralion in the Bastion of Twilight. The new fights were fun and it’s nice to see a return to execution really mattering in your success or failure.

Flavour Country is currently 11/12 ICC hard modes and working on taking down heroic Lich King after defeating both Professor Putricide and Sindragosa hard last week. Putricide was an enjoyable fight – Sindragosa mostly fell over once we finally got around to doing some pulls on it. Fortunately Arthas looks to be quite a challenge, and we’re looking forward to it!

Just a quick note to say that FC is currently 12/12 normal ICC and now working on hard mode content.

As of 01/07/10 Flavour Country has downed Professor Putricide, completing the Plagueworks wing of ICC. We are currently recruiting full-time raiders for the remainder of ICC and the upcoming hard mode encounters. We are always interested in speaking to exceptional applicants, and we are explicitly seeking the following:

• Balance Druid
