M’uru

It’s been a little over a month since our last server first, and damn was this one sweet. Easily the hardest fight Flavour Country has thrown our heads against, M’uru was finally laid to waste. A big thanks goes out to Superblotto for learning how to tank in a matter of hours, and of course, our raid leader Sylvania, for not shoving a fork through his testicles before the boss had been beaten.

Eredar Twins

Flavour Country gets its fourth server first in the Sunwell Plateau by killing the Eredar Twins. This fight was very complex, but a lot of practice and some pro execution lead to a kill. Kudos to Yurifel, our fire tank, for an awesome job.
Congratulations Sylvania on Demontooth Shoulderpads, Fedora on Shoulderpads of Knowledge’s Pursuit, Rishya on Book of Highborne Hymns, Ripman on Spaulders of Reclamation and Thunderheart Belt, and Galba on Sin’dorei Pendant of Conquest.
The second gate just opened yesterday, so next up is M’uru.

Brutallus

Flavour Country gets another server first by killing Brutallus, the second boss in Sunwell Plateau. This fight was very intense and required an insane amount of dps, but once again our raiders were up for the challenge.
Congratulations Nayto on Skyshatter Cord, Quiddity on Skyshatter Belt, Dmighty on Thunderheart Belt, and Seebo on Leggings of Calamity.

Kalecgos

Flavour Country welcomed the first new 25-man content in more than 7 months (not that we were counting) by defeating Kalecgos, the first boss in the Sunwell Plateau.
Congratulations to Arachna and Fedora on Bracers of the Malefic, Meathop on Skyshatter Wristguards, and Superblotto on Legplates of the Holy Juggernaut.
All members of Flavour Country are excited about raiding the Sunwell and we hope to bring you more posts like this very soon.

Flavour Country is currently recruiting several exceptional players to round out our roster. Located on the PvP server Dark Iron, Flavour Country is 5/5 in Hyjal and 9/9 in BT, and currently farming tier 6 content in preparation for Sunwell. The guild is stable and well established. The server is PST.
Applicants to Flavour Country should be experienced raiders who are familiar with all aspects of their class. Ability and willingness to study and prepare for fights you have not yet participated in is essential. Your character should show polish: proper gems, enchants, and talent spec, as well as intelligent gear choices. Applicants are expected to make 100% of scheduled raids during the trial period and 75% after becoming a full member.

Tuesday 6:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Wednesday 6:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Thursday 6:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Saturday 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

Message from Sylvania:
So, it’s about that time again. Tonight, 8-28-07, Flavour Country downed Illidan Stormrage thus “beating the game” and “winning teh intertron” in its current form. This capped a week where we had raid-first kills on Mother Shahraz, the Illidari Council, and then Illidan.
I want to take this time to publicly congratulate all the members of our guild, from the folks who raided hard all week, to the ones who had to miss a day and were cheering on the sideline. The people in Flavour Country are why I continue to play this game, there isn’t a better group anywhere. From the beginning we’ve had our drama and our problems (like losing 2 of our top 5 dps <.<) but people have always stepped up, pulled it together, and gotten us through.
Grats to Seebo and Cure on T6 chests [Chestguard of the Forgotten Vanquisher and Chestguard of the Forgotten Protector respectively], Whirr on her Shard of Azzinoth, and Nyctere on Cowl of the Illidari High Lord. I also want to say grats and thank you to Thrust for being right on our asses all throughout BT. I think they strongly motivated our good and focused play this week and I can’t wait to go head-to-head with them in the Sunwell. Two guilds at this progression level on a low-raiding-pop server like Dark Iron is quite an accomplishment in my opinion.
Alright, that’s all from me. Thanks again, members of FC, for an awesome journey. Can’t wait to do it all again in the Sunwell and WotLK.

First, the members of Flavour Country would like to congratulate our server rival, Thrust, for beating us to the punch with Archimonde. This is no easy fight.
Now, congratulations to Flavour Country for this triumph! Between the multiple wipes and Sylvania making us all feel like jackasses (which we are) by imitating the Doom Fire - ”I AM GOING TO BUURRRNNNN YYYOOOUUU” - I think we all deserve a pat on the back for this acheivement. Congratulations to Machetephil who received Midnight Chest; to Aldric who received Helm of Forgotten Vanquisher; and to SuperBlotto who received Antonidas’s Aegis of Rapt Concentration and Helm of the Forgotten Conqueror.
With Hyjal cleared, all we have left is Black Temple. See you at Illidan, Thrust.

It’s been a while since FC has downed a new boss; but we contribute that to gearing ourselves for the upcoming harder bosses. As a result of this killing, FC raiders found themselves with two new snazzy items: Sylvania received Pendant of Titans; Neph received Naaru-Blessed Life Rod.
